CASE STUDY: Who is it? Alike Jeffs, Dats who!

Initially I just want to congratulate you guys at v-befree on all that you are doing, I am extremley proud and honoured to be affliated and able to contribute via my talents. To be honest I'm not totally sure on what I intend to gain from this message but if there's one thing I've learnt in life it is to make the most out of every situation and never under estimate the possibilities of what could happen, it's better to try than to do nothing at all, so below is some 'inf' (info) about what I do plus links.
So... Introducing - Alike Jeffs

I am "a young, talented, upcoming musician, an artist by the name 'Infecta'" (Logan Sama KISS 100). And I focus mainly on vocals so whether that be Gospel, Poetry, Grime, Spoken Word, Rap, Singing, Song writing etc. am about it, plus I've had experience in all fields I've mentioned.
Recently in this struggle to get out there I been doing things to take my music career further via; performances, music videos, events / public appearances and many more... also due to the way I've been brought up I do a lot of youth work with all sorts of positive companies such as; Prince's Trust, BPA (Black Police Association), ssp(safer southwark partnership), Kickstart, f4L(Foundation 4 Life) etc.

From all these things - the network around me is now strong enough to start spreading my music, exp. I linked up with a Producer overseas in Latin America and managed to work on one song within his album (Color TV) which was released by two labels; 'Sinewave' in Brasil & 'Diablero' in Mexico. But I am still living in a deprived region of South East London and so find it difficult to push my music out there.

Also have been making a lot of different music that all ages can listen to by working with organizations such as; London Sinfonietta, artist like; John Cage and poets such as Michael Groce and through the influence of my surroundings mixed with experiences from the past e.g. The Southbank Project: SOWF (some other way forward) & Street Genius.

Just worth mentioning I also do modeling, acting, designing. Recently did an advert for Pepsi, I'm also close to receiving a sponsorship by Nike but right now am currently working on building a Portfolio based on Designers/Apparel in UK. Whether that be T-Shirts to full Clothing Lines. Am also working on designing my own Tees which will allow those that own one to make it unique by customizing the front to display their name etc. with the theme being "We are what we wear." & "supporting supporters."

Commercially I have made a few TV Appearances this year including; Channel 4, BBC, SKY1 & ITV & also performed on the same stage alongside artist such as; Chipmunk, Bashy, Ghetts, N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder etc. (on Festivals like 'The Mix 09') but at my age of 18 (recently) it's easy for me to become misunderstood so although in all I spread positive messages sometimes my musical gift has still been over looked.
